First album I ever bought was Rock And Roll Over by Kiss – did Anders Kornestedt of Happy know this when he suggested the design to me and Tore for my retrospective book Kaleidoscope.

Major has his own style, gotta love him. Here’s how I found him preparing for the role as a blacksmith with a dark side. Not gonna use the mask for the film, but it sure had to be photographed.

Just realized it is Syd Barrett’s Birthday today.

Was wondering what is going to happen to fashion videos as the web is becoming more and more important.
Style.com and all those places do the runway reportage really well, but what is the artistic expression going to look like. Where and how are the videos that take the place of creative editorials going to be presented. Late one night I sat with Axel at a diner and he got a call to help Rod out with a cinematography gig. Axel was unable to make it, so I took his place and cabbed down to the Rivington Hotel Penthouse. We did an allnighter filming beauty scenes, Rod had already done all the lighting and all I had to do was capture some additional angles. I was happy to see how Rod Lamborn and Digital Kitchen’s Brian Bowman had done an amazing job on the short.
