So What Do I Do Now?
When you get stuck in a creative project you can turn to Oblique Strategies. Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt originally conceived it as a deck of cards. Somebody gave me one of these decks a long time ago - don’t know where it is. Gaining new popularity it has now appeared many places online the best one is probably on MinimalDesigns Website - and if you are on Twitter you can get one Oblique Chirp sent to you every hour. The website version was used to make this blog post when I wasn’t sure if I was going to make a post about it or not, so then I clicked a few times and came to this card.

Syd Barrett Pink Floyd
Just realized it is Syd Barrett’s Birthday today.

What is a Fashion Video?
Was wondering what is going to happen to fashion videos as the web is becoming more and more important.
Style.com and all those places do the runway reportage really well, but what is the artistic expression going to look like. Where and how are the videos that take the place of creative editorials going to be presented. If you know of a good video or of a place where they are presented regularly please add it to the comments.

Late night call for Meridian
Late one night I sat with Axel at a diner and he got a call to help Rod out with a cinematography gig. Axel was unable to make it, so I took his place and cabbed down to the Rivington Hotel Penthouse. We did an allnighter filming beauty scenes, Rod had already done all the lighting and all I had to do was capture some additional angles. I was happy to see how Rod Lamborn and Digital Kitchen’s Brian Bowman had done an amazing job on the short.
